Hi! My name is John Sacco. I started trail and ultra running in 2014. Since then, I’ve been researching ways to get the best performance out of myself. This eventually led me down a path of ancestral health and fitness. Using the knowledge of our own biology, and looking back at human history, I am developing a more primal-aligned lifestyle. This includes food choices and training plans. I’ll be doing all the research, testing it out on my own body, then sharing my results with you!

I am a lover of the outdoors. Spending time in nature and reconnecting with the true spirit of life is my passion. This passion draws me to trail running, hiking, practicing natural movements in nature and drives me to live a life more aligned with true human nature.

I believe that optimal nutrition plays a huge role in quality of life. I am constantly learning and experimenting with diet and fueling strategies. I intend to share what I find useful, or not, here on my blog.

This life is a journey. To fully enjoy it, one must be conscious, mindful, compassionate and healthy. I strive to embody these in my life everyday. I believe in treating people with respect, no matter where they are from, as we are all guests on this planet.
